On a Side Note

Did you know that there's a verb that means 'to throw out of a window'? I just discovered it. It's 'defenestrate.' As in:

After polishing off the remainder of my grape popsicle while motoring down Lakeshore Drive, I defenestrated the wrapper.

What a kick-assingly efficient word.

- an Efficient, useEful and remarKable word

I DID know that there was a single word for the act of chucking something out the window. I learned it on the "Word of the Day" thing on the TV in the elevator at my yuppie job.

Thanks for checking out my blog. I've enjoyed browsing yours and will continue to visit.

I love those crazy czech bastards. I can totally imagine them saying, "Guillotine? Why complicate things? Just toss him out the window and be done with it already!"
